Action Company LLC is a first-generation, family-owned, outdoor contractor that offers a comprehensive range of commercial and residential excavation and landscaping solutions in southwest Minnesota. We specialize in excavation & site preparation, landscape design & supply, irrigation & drainage, and snow & ice management. Proudly based in Marshall, Minnesota, Action Company LLC offers a service radius of 75 miles.

At Action Company LLC, our mission is to be the outdoor contractor of choice in southwest Minnesota. Through our commitment to safety, expertise, and our investment in an innovative fleet, we strive to deliver custom transformations to our clients’ outdoor landscape and supply needs.

OUR STORY

In pursuit of his passion for earth work, Jim Swenson launched Action Company LLC in 2010 – providing Marshall and the surrounding area with small-scale snow removal and excavation solutions. In the spring of 2017, the company expanded its offerings by launching the landscape design & supply and irrigation & drainage divisions.

In 2020, the landscape supply store at 1211 West Main Street opens, giving Marshall and the surrounding area access to a wide range of bulk materials including topsoil, mulch, gravel, retaining wall block and various other aggregates, tools, and supplies. Action Company LLC is a retailer of Rochester, Amcon, Versa-Lok, SRW Products and Stan Houston products.

As of 2023, Action Company operates four main divisions: Site Preparation and Utilities, Landscape Design & Supply, Irrigation & Drainage and Snow Removal and Ice Management.
